Sahwa Net- A Yemeni security officer escaped on Tuesday an assassination attempt as he was at his house in Zinjibar district.
Eyewitnesses said unknown men attacked randomly Ali Khanbash, but he escaped the incident and another citizen was wounded.
Two militants killed on Thursday an officer of Yemen's intelligence service, the Political Security Organization at Zinjibar of Abyan governorate.
Although security forces heavily displayed in the city following the assassination, the militants could escape.
This incident came amid gowning operations which targeted officers of the Political Security organizations as this event is considered the fourth carried out against the organizations officers in three months.
