Sahwa Net- The 62 Brigade of hte Republican Guard launched on Wednesday fierce attacks against some villages of Arhab, outskirt of the Yemeni capital, Sana'a, leaving many civilians killed and wounded.
Sources of Arhab district affirmed that the number of the killed mounted to 340 persons and the wounded number is 340.
They also said most civilians were displaced, affirming that troops prevented ambulances from arriving in to take the wounded. Eyewitness affirmed that the government forces randomly attacked the villages, killed arrestees and mutilated their corpses.
Civilians have appealed for help in rescuing wounded civilians, indicating that many houses, farms and other properties were destroyed.
Eyewitnesses said the bombardments intensified after new tribes of Arhab declared its support to the peaceful revolution of Yemen youth.
