Sahwa Net- Approximately 35 protestors were wounded Monday in Marib governorate as pro-governorate protestors led by Marib's governor Naji Al-Zaidi attacked them.
Eyewitnesses said that the escorts of the governor and other assailants shot live bullets against peaceful protestors who demand to overthrow the Yemeni regime.
Local sources said that tribal men surround the government compound in Marib protesting crimes committed by the governor and his followers.
The violence incident followed the death of six people, including a 12-year-old boy, on Saturday in a confrontation with riot police in Sanaa. There were also violent clashes in Tahrir Square where hundreds of policemen reportedly used tear gas, water cannons and live bullets against protesters who have camped out there.
