Mohammad Al-Mikhlafi has said that preparations are ongoing to hold a national
reconciliation conference on the upcoming March, pointing out that the
conference aims to prevent any future conflicts or human rights violations.
In an interview with an Emirati newspaper, he
affirmed that a law drift of " transitional justice" is prepared,
affirming that this draft is designed to give justice to those people affected
by political conflicts from the 1995 civil war until 2011.
He further said that this draft focuses on violations
of human rights committed in 2011 against peaceful protests.
