Yemen opposition:
Hadi is able to assume responsibilities

– Secretary-General of the main Yemeni opposition party , Islah, Abdul-Wahab
Al-Anisi has said that the opposition trust on Vice President Abdu Rabu Hadi,
pointing out that Hadi has the ability to resume responsibilities in Yemen.
He said the early presidential
elections set for Feb. 12 would change Yemen, stressing that they will have
clear imprint on the life of Yemenis.
In an a rally attended by senior opposition
and ruling officials, Al-Anisi sail there is consensus on Hadi in this critical
stage.
President Barack Obama threw his
support behind Yemen's Vice President just days before an election expected to
enshrine him as the new leader of a country the U.S. sees as crucial to the
fight against al-Qaida.
Obama's top counterterrorism adviser,
John Brennan, read the text of a letter from Obama to reporters Sunday after
delivering it to Vice President Abed Rabbo Mansour Hadi during a two-day visit
to the troubled Gulf Arab nation.
