JMP: the election day is a real victory for Yemenis
Spokesman of the Joint Meeting Parties (JMP) Abdu Al-Odain said the
election day, Feb. 21 is a real victory for the willingness of Yemenis,
pointing out that it is as a start to resolve the south and Sasda cases.
He called all Yemenis for flowing to the ballot boxes, urging the
peaceful elements of the Southern Movement and the Houthi group to shoulder responsibilities
and stand by future of the nation.
Gun men blew up a polling station Monday in Aden killing one
soldier one day before the elections.
Yemenis vote Tuesday to replace Ali Abdullah Saleh, president of
more than 30 years, with Vice President Abdu Rabu Masour Hadi, who runs as the
only candidate.
