Alsahwah.net- Secretary-General of the Gulf
Cooperation Council Abdul-Latif Alzaiani along with a Gulf high-ranking delegation
is to arrive in Sana'a on Monday in
response to a call directed by Yemen's Foreign Minister, Abu Bakar Al-Qirbi.
Al-Zaiani
will meet the newly-elected President Abdu Rabu Mansour Hadi, Prime Minister
Mohammad Salim Basindiwa and other high-ranking Yemeni officials.
He
will discuss with the Yemeni officials the GCC-brokered power transfer deal, its
implementation mechanism and other cooperation issues.
Al-Zainai
had praised the electoral process in Yemen and the high turnout of the Yemeni
people.
