politicians have said that the elderly son of the former president Ali Abdullah
Saleh provides protection to those commanders who rebel against decrees of
President Abdu Rabo Mansour Hadi.

accused Ahmed Ali of standing behind of the rebellion of Mohammad Saleh
Al-Ahmar, the former commander of the Air Forces, and Tariq Mohmmad Abdullah
Saleh, the commander of the Special Forces.

Saleh Al-Ahmar stepped down on Tuesday after more than two weeks of rebellion
against decrees of President Abdu Rabo Mansour Hadi.
With the attendance of the UN Envoy
Jamal Benomar, Al-Ahmar handed over the command to Rashid Al-Janad at the
headquarters of the Air Forces.
