Freedom Foundation condemns attacks
against journalists
Alsahwah.net-Freedom Foundation for media freedom,
rights and development in Yemen has condemned the pursuit of the journalist Mohmmad
Al-Lawzi and the abduction of his son hours after armed men attacked another
journalist, Khalid Raweh, in Hodeidah governorate.
In a statement, Freedom Foundation
said that the son of Al-Lawzi, 15 years, was subjected to abduction for five
hours on Friday , pointing out that three unidentified armed men threatened him
with weapons and beat him.
Freedom Foundation said such attacks
aim at intimating journalist, asking the concerned authorities to unveil the
criminals and hold them accountable.
