Yemen's Defense Minister Mohammad Nasser Ahmed has accused some factions of
receiving funds of Iran with the aim of sparking turmoil and undermine security
and stability.
In a
meeting with officials in Aden on Wednesday, he urged officials to cooperate to
open blocked roads, ease tensions and find mechanisms to compensate those
families that lost its relatives in previous conflicts.
He visited
some southern governorate to brief on combat readiness, pointing out that the
Interior Ministry will send military reinforces to maintain security in the
port city of Aden.
He said
that security situation in Aden is complicated and the governorate needs
military reinforcement to qualify police stations.
