protesters were wounded in Hodeidah as forces of the Central Security led by
nephew of the former president Ali Abdullah Saleh used tear gas and batons against
a peaceful protest.
Thousands of protesters took into
streets on Saturday, demanding to dismiss the governor of Hodeida, but they
were faced with repression.
The demonstrators demanded to dismiss
the governor Akram Atiyah, accusing him of issuing decrees of appointing
They said that Atiyah adopts the same
polices of Saleh as he promotes corrupt officials.
The protesters held the governor
responsible for that events, stressing that he works to spread corruption,
looting of lands and halt service projects.
