Lawmaker: Saleh created Al-Qaeda, other armed groups

Alsawhawah.net- A Yemeni lawmaker
Mohammad Al-Qadhi has accused the former president Ali Abdullah Saleh of creating
Al-Qaeda, the Houthi group and the Southern Movement.
He further said that the military
shake-up is desperately needed to Yemen, stressing that it is among the main objectives
of the revolution.
"Yemen does not need these numerous
armies" he added" The Republican Guard has dozens of brigades and the
1st Armored Division has others".
He strongly criticized Saleh, citing
that he employed the military to protect his family, pointing out that the
revolution has not achieve its objectives so far.
