Turkish forces rescue 7 Yemeni fishermen

Alsahwah.net- Turkey stated on Sunday that its marine forces operating in the Gulf of Aden have rescued a Yemeni fishing vessel off the Arabian Sea. 

In a statement posted on its online website, the leadership of the Turkish Military said that seven Yemeni fishermen were captured by armed Somali pirates in Arabian Sea.

It said that a Turkish frigate involving in the international forces against piracy in Aden Gulf received a call form the Yemeni fisherman, pursued the pirates who capture the vessel and set them free.

It made it clear that the Turkish forces took over the pirates' weapons used in piracy, pointing out that the pirates used a fast boat equipped with well-made energies.
