UN, US, EU condemn Sana'a suicide bombing

Alsahwah.net- The UN Security Council has condemned the suicide booming in which nearly 100 troops were killed in Sana'a on Monday.

UN Security Council expressed deep concern about the "brutal acts", extending condolences to the Yemeni people and government, stressing that terrorism is among the most dangerous threats against world peace and security.

For its part, the White House condemned the bombing, saying that the United States would stand by Yemen's side at this difficult time.

EU High Representative Catherine Ashton offered her sympathy and condolences to the families and friends of all of the victims.

In a statement, the EU expressed deeply concerned by all attempts to derail Yemen's transition.

"All Parties must abide by the undertakings set out in the Gulf Cooperation Council Initative and implementation mechanism" it added.
