Alsahwah.net- UN Envoy Jamal Benomar returned to Sana'a on Thursday in its eleventh visit to Yemen since he was appointed as a UN Envoy to follow up Yemen's political impasse.

Benomar came to Yemen after participation in the meeting of Yemen's Friend meeting that was held in Riyadh on Wednesday.

The UN Security Council postponed the discussion of Yemen's report  presented by Benomar from May 176 to May 29, to give a chance to reach a political settlement and implementing the GCC power transfer deal.

Benomar told the Yemeni News Agency(Saba) that his current visit to  Yemen aimed at follow up the UN  Security Council Resolution 2104 and the implementation of the GCC deal.

Benomar left Yemen early of May after nearly two weeks stay in Yemen as he persuaded some relatives of Saleh to handed over their positions to newly appointed military heads.

He persuaded Saleh's relatives to hand over their positions, but some of them abandoned their commitments hours after the departure of Benoamr on May 5.
