At least
13 Al-Qaeda militants were killed in violent clashes between the army and Ansar
Alsharia, an al-Qaeda-linked group centered in some towns of Abyan, Alsahwah.net
correspondent affirmed.
The correspondent
said that large numbers of troops were transferred form Lawdar that was
cleansed form Al-Qaeda to Shaqra, a port
town of Abyan.
Military
sources affirmed that the military took control on some northern and eastern
parts of Zinjibr, affirming that it tries to cut it off from Jaar and Shaqra.

to 26 September Newspaper
six Al-Qaeda militants and one soldier were killed in the early hours of Sunday,
pointing out that al-Qaeda militants attempted to take control on some
government facilities, and they were escaped after they were confronted with
strong resistance of the army.
