Alsahwah.net- Humanitarian suffers of
civilians in Jaar of Abyan have exacerbated as bloody clashes are ongoing between
Ansar Alsharia, an Al-Qaeda-linked group and the Yemeni army.
Hundreds of Jaar residents were
displaced to other areas of Jaar as the army seeks to dislodge al-Qaeda
militants from the town amid strong resistance of the militants.
Fears of food and medicines shortage increased
as the army impose a siege on the city and cut off all roads leading to the town.
Local sources said that mass
displacement toward Aden has increased, pointing out that 70 families left Jaar
in the past two days.
