11/7/2012 -

Alsahwah.net- A Leader of the General People Congress led by the former Ali Abdullah Saleh, Mohammad Al-Shaif, has insulted the Yemeni Prime Minister Mohammad Salem Basindwa.

Al-Shaif, who is among the most loyal tribal leader to Saleh, also dubbed the Yemeni ministers as toys, stressing that he does not recognize a government led by a Somali prime minister.

In a parliamentary session, Al threatened the Finance Minster Sakhr Al-Wajih with beating, after the latter objected to his abuses.

The insults of Al-Shaif pushed a large number of parliamentarians to leave the Representative House, expressing sorrow about the insults against the government.

Mohammmad Al-Hazmi, a lawmaker, said the Yemeni government and the Finance Minister are attacked as it took courageous decisions to keep public money.

Al-Wajih had carried out reforms inside the Finance Ministry that outraged a large number of Saleh's aides, particularly tribal leaders who Saleh used to allocate them billions of rials annually.
