Revolutionary Council accuses former regime of committing crimes

Alsahwah.net- The National Council of Peaceful Revolutionary Forces has called the authorities to promptly investigate the suicide bombing that killed and wounded dozens of cadets in Sana'a on Wednesday, accusing the former regime of Ali Abdullah Saleh of committing the crime.  

It further affirmed that those responsible for the event seek to destroy  the life of Yemenis and committing such vicious acts to carry out their aims, appealing to    arrest the criminals and bring them to  justice, considering these acts as crimes against humanity.

It further extended condolences to the families of victims, calling the international community to issue firmer stances to implement the power transfer in Yemen, affirming that the former regime still does best to return to power.

About ten cadets of the Police College were killed and 15  others were wounded Wednesday  in Sana'a as a suicide bombers riding a motorcycle exploded himself at the students who were leaving the college to spend weekend holidays.

Eyewitnesses told Alsahwah.net that the suicide bomber survived the incident that he was transferred to a nearby hospital to receive treatment.

The incident came hours after the Interior Ministry warned about possible terrorist attacks, urging its services to be alert and wary.

The ministry said on its online website that it directed its services to be in a nonstop alert to foil any terrorist attacks, stressing that protection of foreign embassies and foreigners reseeding in Yemen are among its top priorities.
