JMP strongly condemns attack against cadets

Alsahwah.net- The Joint Meeting Parties (JMP) has strongly condemned terrorist attack against cadets of the Police College that killed and wounded dozens in Sana'a on Wednesday.

In a statement , the JMP called the concerned authorities to firmly stand against these explosions that have recently increased, pointing out that such crimes seek to plunge the state into conflicts and turmoil.

It further called to form an urgent probe committees to disclose the circumstances of the event and those who are behind.

The JMP extended its condolences to the families of victims, urging in the meantime to promptly reconstruct of the army to overcome security deterioration and impose the domination of the government.  

About ten cadets of the Police College were killed and 15  others were wounded Wednesday  in Sana'a as a suicide bombers riding a motorcycle exploded himself at the students who were leaving the college to spend weekend holidays.

Eyewitnesses told Alsahwah.net that the suicide bomber survived the incident that he was transferred to a nearby hospital to receive treatment.

The incident came hours after the Interior Ministry warned about possible terrorist attacks, urging its services to be alert and wary.

The ministry said on its online website that it directed its services to be in a nonstop alert to foil any terrorist attacks, stressing that protection of foreign embassies and foreigners reseeding in Yemen are among its top priorities.
