Alsahwah.net-Yemen's government sent a memorandum
to the Yemeni parliament in which it demanded it to revoke the immunity of
Mohammad Al-Shaif in order to try him.
Al-Shaif who is a tribal leader
insulted on a Wednesday session of parliament Prime Minister Mohammad Salem
Basindwa and threatened the Finance Minister with beating.
He said that Basindwa is not Yemeni
and dubbed the Yemeni misters as toys, saying that he does not recognize the
current interim government.
Most members of Yemen's parliament
withdrew from a Wednesday session in protest at insulting Basindwa and Al-Wajih.
Members of parliament expressed
sorrow about insults used by Al-Shaif, pointing out that some sides seek to
break down reconciliation reached by Yemenis and ignite conflict.
