YSP leader: The former regime supports armed group

Alsahwah.net- A leader of the Yemeni Social Party Mohammad Ghalib Ahmed has accused
the former regime led by Ali Abdullah Saleh of supporting armed groups in
Yemen, emphasizing that Saleh and the former president Ali Salim Al-Beidh
agreed to fragment Yemen.
Ahmed, who is head of the Foreign Relations of YSP, said in an interview
with Al-Ghad Newspaper that Yemen made a relative success and avoid plunging
into civil war.
He described relations of the YSP with the JMP as strong, stressing that
YSP is interested in strengthening trust between members of the alliance.
He affirmed that some armed groups carry out the agenda of Saleh and he
provide them with protection and support.
