Hadi chairs first meeting of dialogue committee Saturday

Mansour Hadi is to chair the first meeting of the recently-appointed technical
dialogue committee in Sana'a , the military-run 26 September said on Thursday.
It said that the committee will
select its head and tow deputies.
President Abdu Rabo Mansour Hadi
issued on July 14 a decree of forming the technical committee of dialogue that
included 25 members of Yemen's various political factions.
The decree outlined the committee's
duties, the dialogue themes and the expected results and set the September 30th
as the deadline for the committee to accomplish its job and deliver its
recommendations.
UN Envoy to Yemen Jamal Benomar had
affirmed that the dialogue-preparation committee will be tasked with carrying
out consultations and preparations to hold the dialogue conference in Next
November.
The dialogue conference is an article
of the power transfer deal mediated by the GCC states that posed the base to
force the former president Ali Abdullah Saleh to cede power.
