Saleh's party threatens protesters in Sana'a

Alsahwah.net- The General People Congress party has threatened the Yemeni revolutionaries, stating that coming close to the residency of his leader, Ali Abdullah Saleh, is a red line.

Yemeni revolutionaries are preparing to a demonstration that will call for prosecuting Saleh and his aides accused of killing protesters, and cancelling the immunity given to him.      

This demonstration came in the framework of an escalating program of the Yemeni revolutionaries.

Almotamar Net, a mouthpiece of the GPC, said such demonstration aim to break down the GCC-crafted power transfer deal.

Massive crowds of Yemenis took to into streets last Tuesday, demanding to prosecute the former president Ali Abdullah Saleh and revoke immunity given to him.

Protesters, for the first time,  rallied in a place nearby the Presidential Palace, the Central Security and  the residency of Saleh. 

Security vehicles accompanied the protest to protect it and opened the roads.

As the protest came close to Saleh's residency and dozens of soldiers were deployed to protect streets and roads leading to his residency.

The protesters raised slogans in which they demanded to execute Saleh, accusing him of killing their fellow protesters.

They further called for immediately releasing protesters held in some security and intelligence custodies that are still run by officials loyal to Saleh and his family.
