Alsahwah.net- A Saudi newspaper, Okaz, has said that the United Nations prepares a
" surprise" to Yemen, affirming that the donor states will allot $15
billion to Yemen in the donor conference to be held in New York.
"This surprise includes an inclusive plan to grant Yemen
$15 billion that aims at developing Yemen, ending the causes of insecurity and
reiving economy " Okaz added.
The donors pledged $6.4
billion in aid to Yemenearly of
September in a meeting held in Riyadh.

government needs $11.9 billion in the short term,” Planning and International
Cooperation Minister Mohammad al-Saadi told delegates.
The government “urgently
needs to spend $4.7 billion on serious humanitarian needs by February,” he
