Alsahwah.net- Four al-Qaeda militants
were killed and tow others were wounded on Saturday during clashes with the
Popular Resistance Committees in Shaqrah of Abyan governorate.
The
clashes erupted as the Popular Resistance Committees encircled the house of an
Al-Qaeda leader, Nadir al-Shadadi, who is among the most wanted by the Yemeni
authorities.
Local sources said al-Shadadi managed
to escape and his brother, Badar, was arrested.
They further said that two fighters
of the Popular Resistance Committees were wounded including one was seriously injured.
