Arab Coalition rules out declaration of port city as military zone

The Saudi-led Arab Coalition on Monday ruled out that it declared the port city of al-Hudeidah as a military zone, Reuters reported.
However, the Arab Coalition has recently intensified its strikes against military positions of the Houthis and ousted President Ali Abdullah Saleh.
Media outlets reportedly citied that the Arab Coalition were preparing to take over the port city of al-Hudeidah after the Houthis targeted a Saudi frigate lately of January.
On Sunday, the Saudi-led Arab Coalition targeted boats which tried to smuggle weapons through al-Hudeidah, a Saudi-based newspaper, Okaz, affirmed.
Furthermore, the Yemeni army managed last month to seize Iranian-made rockets which were used by forces of the Houthis and ousted President Ali Abdullah Saleh.
Warships from the US Navy have intercepted several weapons shipments sent by Iran to the Houthi rebels in Yemen.
