Disgruntled mothers of peaceful activists that the alliance of Saleh forces and Houthi radical militias abducted and have been detaining since the military takeover of 2014 have renewed their "appeal to the international organizations, the UN and its special envoy and all rights groups to swiftly intervene and end their forcible disappearance."
The mothers, who organize themselves in the "Abductees' Mothers Association in different provinces, staged a rally in the central Yemen city of Ibb on Friday to make their concerns about their children known.
They are staging sit-ins continually and non-stop since the abduction of their children. The day before members of the association in Hodeidah held a rally to voice the same concerns. In Hodeida they expressed their concern that they had learnt that their children are subjected to brutal torture in the rebel militias' jails.
