The Arab Coalition's recent deployment of forces in Yemen's southeastern province of al-Mahra is part of a plan meant to stop the smuggling of Iranian arms to the Houthi-Saleh militias and for fighting terrorism, a military source told the Saudi daily Okaz.
"The deployment of these forces is meant to stop arms smuggling and consolidate the power of the government in that border province with the Sultanate of Oman," he said.
