Houthis failed to lift blockade on fighters in Shabwah

Militias of the Houthis and ousted President Ali Abdullah Saleh on Friday failed to lift a blockade imposed on their fighters in the area of Osailan, Shabwah governorate.
The source affirmed that the militias attacked a number of positions in the area of al-Safra in an attempt to recapture them, but they could not advance.
Meanwhile, the Saudi-led Arab Coalition launched strikes on sites of the militias in Haid Bin Aqeel of Osailan district.
A number of the Houthis were killed as they tried to launch a Katyusha rocket which exploded on them.
According to government sources, Yemen’s national army and popular resistance forces have liberated more than 85 percent of the Yemeni territories from Houthi militia control and the forces of the ousted president Ali Abdullah Saleh.
