Saadah governor: Yemen army capture Iranian-made weapons in Saadah

Governor of Saadah Hadi Tarshan has affirmed that Yemen army backed by the popular resistance took over the 101st brigade and captured Iranian-made weapons.
Tarshan told the Saudi-based Okaz newspaper that the army is preparing to take over all districts of Saadah, pointing out that military forces finished its training and will soon start fighting the Houthis in Saadah.
Meanwhile, the commander of Saadah Military Region Obaid al-Athalah affirmed that dozens of the Houthis including senior leaders were killed, pointing out that the army managed to took over strategic positions.
They managed on Wednesday to liberate new military positions of the Houthis in the governorate of Saadah, the main stronghold of the Houthi Movement.
Al-Athalah affirmed that Yemeni army units liberated large areas in al-Bukua district from the Houthis, capturing a great deal of military equipment and munitions.
He reiterated that the is determining to advance and liberate all Yemeni lands controlled by the Houthi putschists.
According to government sources, Yemen’s national army and popular resistance forces have liberated more than 85 percent of the Yemeni territories from Houthi militia control and the forces of the ousted president Ali Abdullah Saleh.
