Houthis kill merchant in Dhamar

The Houthis on Saturday killed a merchant in the city of Dhamar after storming into his store and looting more than YR 4 million of the newly printed currency.
Local people said that the Houthis killed the merchant al-Namari after he refused to give them the money, pointing out that the Houthis shot fire on him, threw his body inside the store and left.
The Houthis broke into many shops in Dhamar, confiscated the newly-printed currency which is worth millions of dollars.
Meanwhile, the city of Dhamar and most northern areas are facing a serious shortage of fuels amid expansion of the black markets.
