Alsahwa Net- Houthi militias on Saturday indiscriminately bombarded a number of populated houses in the city of Hodeida, killing three girls and wounding three others.
Last Thursday, the Houthis conducted arrest campaigns against activists and youth in different neighborhoods of Hodeida.
The sources also said that the Houthis plant landmines inside populated neighborhoods of Hodeida amid an increasing fear of the population.
Meanwhile, the Houthis started to plant landmines in the entries of Hodeida Port and the areas surrounding it, local sources told Alsahwa Net.
Workers of the port told AFP that the Huthis had planted explosives near two of the port's gates, one that leads to Jizan Road, a main street in the city's north, and the other near the Alsanabel flour mill company.
"There is only one entrance left into the port, and that is the main gate that leads to Mina Street that trucks use," one employee, who requested anonymity, told AFP.
The United Nations has warned an attack on the port would be "catastrophic" in a country where half the population is at risk of starvation.
