Gov’t expresses dissatisfaction over statement of OCHA

Alsahwa Net- Yemen government has expressed sorrow over the statement of the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) in which it was not clearly the involvement of the Houthis in targeting a camp of internally displacement persons in Hardah district of Hajjah governorate.

The Iran-backed Houthi rebels indiscriminately targeted on Friday  the camp, killing eight persons and wounding 30 others, most of them are children and women.

In a statement, the government through the Higher Committee for Relief Aid said it was disappointed by the latest statement  of the Humanitarian Coordinator Lisa Grande, saying the statement did not name the Houthi rebels of standing behind the attack on IDPs’ camp.

The statement called on Grande to hold the Houthis responsible clearly and fully for the massacres they have been committing on a daily basis against Yemeni civilians.
