Dozens of detainee mothers protested on Monday in the capital Sana'a, demanding to immediately release their sons and relatives abducted by militias of the Houthis and Saleh.
They strongly condemned the continuation of detaining their relatives, appealing to the international community, particularly the e United Nations, to hold all those involved in abduction, torture and detention of their relatives accountable.
In a statement, the Association of Detainee Mothers (ADM) said that more than a year and half passed since their sons and relatives were abducted, affirming that hundreds of them were subjected to brutal torture.
They cited that the case of the detainees has been being ignored for one year and a half, affirming that the International human rights organizations do not put pressures on the Houthis and Saleh to release the detainees.
This protest came concurrently with the constant brutal torture made against the detainees held in custodies of the Houthis and Saleh.
