An advisor of President Abd Rabu Mansour Hadi, Abdul-Aziz al-Maflahi, has denied that President Hadi agree with the UN Special Envoy to Yemen Esmail Ould Cheikh, during their meeting in Aden, any on the basic framework of future negotiations.

Al-Maflahi told al-Sharq al-Awsat that Ould Cheikh Ahmed offered new proposals, but Hadi did not give any approval to the UN proposals.

The remark of al-Maflahi came after the UN State Secretary John Kerry stated that Hadi accepted "the basic framework" Provided by Ould Cheikh Ahmed.

Al-Maflahi said any future negotiations must be preceded by release of political detainees, withdrawal of cities, surrender of heavy weapons.
