Alsahwa Net- The Ambassador of China to Yemen, Kang Yong renewed on Sunday his country’s support to the legitimate government of Yemen, headed by President Abd Rabo Mansour Hadi.
Young indicated that his country exerts great efforts within the five permanent members of the United Nations Security Council (UNSC) towards adoption of the three key references for any political solution to end the conflict.
The three references include the GCC power transfer plan, outcomes of the National Dialogue Conference (NDC) and the UNSC resolutions on Yemen.
He indicated that this was also highlighted in the joint statement by ambassadors of the UNSC five permanent members following the armed rebellion in Aden last August.
Yong said this during his meeting on Sunday with leaders of the Yemen’s information ministry and a number of Yemeni journalists.
He explained that the three references will achieve a common interest for the Yemeni people towards peace and stability of the country.
He said that the NDC document offers genuine solutions to various Yemeni issues.
“I feel extremely sad to what has happened in the temporary capital Aden. These events has complicated the Yemeni issue more and worsened sufferings of the Yemeni people,” said Yong.
He highlighted the Yemen-China relations which dates back to the declaration of the Peoples Republic of China 70 years ago.
Yemen, then was the among the first countries to recognize the new political system in China.
The mutual relations grew more between the two countries, according to Yong.
He concluded that Yemen enjoys great ancient civilization and that the people of Yemen are looking for brighter future.
