Yemeni ferry strands in the Arabian Sea

Alsahwa Net- Yemen’s Minister of Fishery Wealth, Fahd Kefayn, called on Thursday for help to a Yemeni boat with 60 passengers on board that stranded on Wednesday 100 miles off Al-Mahra governorate, in the Arabian Sea. 11 women and six children are among the stranded passengers in the sea.

Kefayn said that his ministry received a report from the Saudi-led coalition on the problem of the stranded Yemeni boat.

Kefyani said that so far sailors of a Pakistani vessel provided food and medicine to the passengers, but the ferry remains stuck in the same place.

He added that the government contacted the Saudi-led coalition for help to rescue citizens on the boat.
