Heads of eight parliamentary blocs have declared their support to the shift of the Yemeni Parliament's sessions to the temporary capital of Aden.
During a meeting chaired by Deputy Speaker of Parliament Mohammed al-Shadadi, heads of blocs supported the presidential decree issued by President Hadi to move Parliament's sessions to Aden and remove measures taken by the Houthis through Parliament.
According to the government-run Saba News Agency, many Yemeni lawmakers are existing outside Yemen and others are pursued by the Houthis inside Yemen.
According to official Yemeni news agency, President Hadi issued the decree based on the Constitution of Yemen, the Gulf Cooperation Council member states’ initiative and its executive mechanism, the outcome of the Comprehensive National Dialogue and the text of Article 66 of the Constitution of Yemen and Article (5) of the Rules of Procedure of the Council of Representatives of Yemen.
