Alsahwa Net- The Houthis waged again a new chain of intimidation against health facilities in areas of their control.
Facilities that came under persecution included medical clinics and drug stores where the Houthis officials overcharged or closed their businesses claiming violation of pricing regulations.
Owners of drug stores quoted by the London-based Asharq Al-Awsat daily Newspaper said that over 200 pharmacies and drug stores have been so far shut down during the last two days when the Houthis began the new intimidation.
Sources in Sana’a said that the Houthis-health minister, Taha Al-Mutwakel and their director of the Medicine Authority, Mohamed Al-Madani are leading the ongoing intimidation against the medical facilities using gunmen in military vehicles. Over 92 individuals were arrested during the past two days including pharmacists, merchants and salesmen.
