Rights groups demand to release enforcedly disappeared persons

A team of the Yemeni Alliance for Monitoring Human Rights Violations on Tuesday discussed with UN officials in Geneva violations committed by militias of the Houthis and Saleh against civilians.
According to the Yemeni News Agency (Saba), statistics of enforced disappearance and violations committed inside militias of the Houthis and Saleh. The also discussed medical, economic and social impacts on their families.
The delegation demanded the United Nations to put further pressures on militias of the Houthis and Saleh to release all abductees and enforcedly disappeared persons in all Houthi prisons, particularly those people mentioned in the UN Resolution 2216.
The UN special reporter said a UN team tasked with following up enforced disappearance sis currently reviewing the inclusion of enforced disappearance amid its activities.
