Yemen's Houthi militia intensified its hostilities against two of the fe.w rema*ining cities under government's control, Taiz in the west and Marib in the east, on Sunday, informed sources have said, as soon as a six month truce expired.
The militia reportedly launched a fresh assault on the army's positions in south Marib and stepped up bombardments of neighborhoods in the north and west of the besieged city of Taiz.
The foreign-backed Shiit terrorist militia illegally acquired multifaceted gains from the previous two extensions of the truce including a chance to further organize their forces and unilaterally fight a (low-intensify) offensive operation against the armed forces that remained adherent to the ceasefire and on the defense.
On their part, the Shiit militia fulfilled nothing of their obligations under the truce, like the opening of road access to the besieged city of Taiz, even though this obligation had been due since the 2018 Stockholm Agreement.
