North Yemen: Two children injured in a blast of Houthi-laid landmine

 

Two children were injured in a landmine blast in the coastal Meedi district, in the northern Yemeni governorate of Hajjah on Wednesday, has been reported.

Medical sources said the two young teenagers, Abkar Muhammad Ju'aidi and Khaled Abkar Ju'aidi, ," were seriously injured in the explosion of an anti-personnel landmine planted by the Houthi militia in Al-Habel area in Meedi and were transferred to a hospital in the neighboring Saudi territories.

The incident comes a week after two women were injured by a missile fired by a Houthi drone at one of the houses in another district, Haradh, in north of Hajjah.
