Rights group: Over 2000 farmers and shepherds killed and injured in Hodeidah by Houthi militants

As many as 2099 farmers and shepherds have been killed by Shia Houthi militants in Yemen's western Hodedidah province over the past nine year, a rights group has said.

Rights Radar has unveiled in a report entitled “Farms and Pastures of Death” that it had documented the death of 1021 farmers and shepherds and injury of 1078 others during the period from April 2015 to September 2024.

The right group indicated that children, women and the elderly are the majority of those victims of Houthi militia's bombardment and indiscriminately planted landmines.

Yemen's foreign-backed Shia terrorists have pulverized many cities through shelling, rendered Yemen the most landmined nation since WWII with thousands of civilian casualties.
