A young man named Essam Al-Dharf, 18, died in a Houthi militia prison in Sana'a, just hours after being kidnapped from his farm in Bani Hashish District .

The Houthi militia stormed the farm, looted it, and took Al-Dharf captive. His death highlights the thousands of human rights violations committed by the Houthi militia, including torture, kidnapping, and killing.

Unfortunately, Al-Dharf's case isn't isolated. Human rights organizations have documented numerous cases of abductees dying in Houthi prisons due to torture.

Others have been released in poor health, with some suffering permanent disabilities.
