Houthi-Saleh militias turn schools into mine plants

The Houthi-Saleh militias turn public facilities including schools into mine plants and using them as military barracks, weapon deports and torture custodies for the detainees and abductees.

Head of the Military Engineering Unit Maj. Gen Saleh Turaiq that Houth-Saleh militias left behind hundreds of explosive devices which were made in a school in Sirwah district.

Turaiq spelt out that the militias plant mines and explosive devices in areas which are taken from them with the aim of retaliation and killing displaced persons who return to their homes.

He said that an engineering team managed to remove 4500 from the area of al-Makhdarah of Sirwah which was liberated by the national army weeks ago.

Deputy Governor of Marib Abdu Rabbu Miftah said that scores of women, children and elderly men were left killed and wounded when they tried to go back to their homes after the withdrawal of the Houthi-Saleh militias.
