Islah Women’s Department in Hajjah Celebrates Sept. 26 and Oct. 14 Revolutions in Marib

The Women’s Department of the Yemeni Islah Party in Hajjah Governorate organized a vibrant artistic and cultural ceremony in the city of Marib on Saturday to commemorate the anniversaries of the September 26 and October 14 revolutions. The event was held under the theme, “Yemeni Women: Voice of the Revolution and Heart of the Nation.”

The celebration brought together a number of female leaders and activists. Speaking at the event, Najood Hameed, a member of the Women’s Department in Islah’s General Secretariat, congratulated the women of Hajjah on these national occasions. She praised the resilience and sacrifices of Yemeni women, highlighting their vital role throughout the country’s historical struggles and revolutions.

Tuhani Al-Qiblah, a representative of the Women’s Department in Hajjah, stressed the importance of upholding the values and achievements of the September and October revolutions. She called for continued efforts to restore the state and the republican system from the grip of the Iran-backed Houthi militia.

Delivering a speech on behalf of the mothers of martyrs, Fairooz Al-Ghazi stated that the sacrifices of Yemen’s fallen heroes continue to fuel the struggle for freedom and justice. She reaffirmed the commitment to follow in their footsteps and raise future generations on principles of sacrifice, patriotism, and defense of the republic.

The event also featured artistic performances and poetry recitations that reflected the spirit of the occasion, and was attended by a large audience of women.
