The Coordination Council of Hadhramaut's political parties and components welcomed Governor Salim Al-Khanbashi's truce initiative,m endorsing efforts to maintain security and stability in the province while rejecting incursion by UAE-backed STC militia.

The council expressed concern over escalating tensions threatening Hadhramaut's peace and stability, achieved over past years, and demanded immediate withdrawal of external troops, praising local Hadhramaut Elite Forces for their professionalism and security performance.

The council urged Yemen's Presidential Leadership Council to prevent Hadhramaut's involvement in political/military conflicts, implement January 2025 decisions addressing Hadhramaut's demands, and called on international quartet to intervene to preserve peace and stability
