Houthi militia has intensified its armed movements in Hodeidah province, through widespread mobilization aimed at raising alert levels in the province, amidst fears of losing control and growing public rejection of its oppressive policies.

The militia has deployed additional armed formations in several districts of the province, after receiving reports of increasing public anger and declining ability to maintain control. It has also brought in new supervisors and obligated its security sectors to conduct thorough inspections.

The militia has launched a security campaign involving deployment of armed men on beaches and coasts and intensifying patrols, aiming to tighten control and prevent any signs of objection to its policies, amidst a notable decline in services and lack of solutions to residents' suffering.
